On December 15th, Girls’ Generation was selected by JCE to model for their game brand, “Freestyle Sports”. JCE has changed their marketing strategy this winter and will launch their first attempt at star marketing. Since this is their first time entering the gamer’s marketing using this strategy, JCE chose Girls’ Generation based on their well-established popularity. Girls’ Generation will be marketing for the brand “Freestyle Sports”, which includes “Freestyle”, “Freestyle Football” and “Freestyle2″.

In these games, consumers will be able to play using Girls’ Generation characters in game. Each game will feature three different Girls’ Generation members in hopes that these nine girls will become the new “faces” of the “Freestyle Sports” brand.

Promotions will be communicated via traditional advertising means such as television and radio, but JCE also wishes to target the online market in order to further increase product and brand awareness.

Song Insoo, a JCE representative, stated,

“The Freestyle series has held their place as Korea’s representative online sports game with soccer and basketball genres. We thought it would coincide with Korea’s national girl group, Girls’ Generation. Also, as ‘Freestyle Sports’ and Girls’ Generation both have a great amount of male fans, we think it will cause a good synergy effect.”

The release of the Girls’ Generation characters will take place on December 15th, so in the meantime, a contest called “Guess which Girls’ Generation member will appear in which game” will be held on the homepages of “Freestyle“, “Freestyle Football“, and “Freestyle2”. The objective of the game is for consumers to guess, via comments, which girls will appear in which game. The prize will be a “Girls’ Generation character”, and the winner of this prize will be drawn at random from the selection of people who guessed correctly.

HUGE NEWS! Coming October 19th, our girls will officially release their upcoming album that many of us have been waiting for desperately!. Not only will their album songs be released on iTunes worldwide on this day, but their full music video of “The Boys” will also be revealed via SM’s official YouTube channel and facebook page.

But the big news does not stop here. According to Newsen, our girls have signed a contact with Universal Music Group in the U.S. and it’s planned that our girls will be releasing a maxi single, “The Boys”, in November under UMG’s label, Interscope Records (whose artists include Lady Gaga, Pussycat Dolls, Eminem, and Black Eyed Peas). Their maxi single will be released worldwide, including in South America and Europe as well.

My finals is next week and I felt like i didn't learn shit the whole year. Well heres a minor update on
the girls new comeback album. Unfortunately its delayed >< but its okayyy!
Heres the full report;

Originally SNSD’s new title song for their third official album “The Boys” was to be released on October 4. However, Korean media sources began to report that album retailers were stating that the date for the album release would be delayed.
Other News Sources such as XPORTSNEWS is currently reporting that SM Entertainment has stated that the release of SNSD's new album in South Korea will be delayed, due to their planned American sales.Originally, SM had planned to release “The Boys” through various music sites in Asia and Korea, as well as on iTunes.
According to XPORTSNEWS, SM Entertainment stated, "We are planning to strategically change our date for release because it will be worldwide and simultaneous. We will give out more details as it is decided."

Today, the teaser photos were posted for Yuri, Yoona, and Seohyun. This followed the release of teaser photos first for Taeyeon, then Sunny and Hyoyeon, and yesterday Jessica, Tiffany, and Sooyoung.
In the teaser photos, Yuri looks stunning in a vivid red dress with sparkling red shoes sitting off to the side. Yoona displays a fierce look as she wears all black with a sparkling tiara on her head. She also wields a fencing-style sword.

As reported earlier, Girls’ Generation’s first comeback performance will be at Music Bank on October 7th. Stay tuned to Soshified for more updates in the event that a group teaser photo, MV teasers, and/or album pre-ordering information becomes available.

More teaser pictures for Girls’ Generation’s third album, “The Boys”, have been released.

Sooyoung is pictured on laying on the floor on top of a huge ornate rug. This picture resembles Taeyeon’s Victorian look while at the same time having a modern feel.

The final teaser picture today is none other than Tiffany, and she looks magical laying among shiny disco balls. Netizens have commented that she looks like Ariel from “The Little Mermaid”.
SM Entertainment also revealed today that Girls’ Generation will have their first comeback performance on October 7th on KBS “Music Bank”.
With only Yuri, Yoona and Seohyun left to reveal their teaser pictures, Girls’ Generation’s comeback is already drawing a lot of anticipation. Stay tuned to Soshified for the latest info.

Popular girl group SNSD will be making their comeback on October 4 with a track produced by worldwide producer Teddy Riley in hand.
SNSD‘s management company SM Entertainment has revealed on September 26, “SNSD will be releasing their title track for their 3^rd official album, ‘The Boys’, on the coming 4^th.” Alongside this announcement, they also have unveiled leader Taeyeon’s teaser image. Other members’ teaser images will also be released one by one as well.
According to SM, the digital version of "The Boys" will be dropped spontaneously through various music sites in Asia and Korea, as well as being introduced to America and Europe through iTunes.
This album has been formatted with the "worldwide" concept, fitting of SNSD’s title as they have been spreading their reaches beyond Asia and around the world. As there will be both an English and Korean version of "The Boys" music video and mp3 file available, an explosive reaction is anticipated from fans throughout the world.
An associate of SM has also passd on, “SNSD’s new kind of music and performance has been further perfected with SM’s global network system as well as excellent producing as its foundations. It can be expected that people will feel SNSD’s differentiated status and charisma with the enhanced competence of the SNSD members also being added to the mix.”

SNSD has been pursuing their international activities after winning the grand award for the Korean music awards at the end of last year. They have recorded the greatest amount of albums sold for the first album of a foreign artist with their first official Japanese album by selling over 68,000 copies. [22.9.2011] SNSD comeback set on October!

SNSD will definitely be making their Korean comeback in October, but the exact date is yet to be confirmed, according to a statement recently released by SNSD’s agency, SM Entertainment. Local news agencies further reported that the album, as well as discussions for its release is in its final stages.
The only reason the final schedule is not definite is in consideration of Sooyoung’s physical condition after being in a car accident in late August. She is currently recovering from injuries to her spine, and was forced to miss performances in “SM Town in Tokyo” and the Taiwan leg of the Girls’ Asian tour.
The new album features work by American composer Teddy Riley, who had previously produced tracks for the late Michael Jackson.
Meanwhile, some SNSD members are set to embark on individual projects. Tiffany will make her musical debut in the upcoming staging of “Fame.” YoonA has just been confirmed to star with Jang Geun Suk in the drama “Love Rain.” Seohyun will join Kim Hyun Joong in a campaign to endorse The Face Shop.

So about a month ago, a new Soshi app was released for the iPhone but this time, Android users are in for a treat: you can now have the girls readily dance in the palm of your hand (with the help of your Android device).

It’s an app for SNSD’s new Vita500 promotions and it looks like it comes packed with goodies! As seen in the screen caps of the application, Android users can download and watch videos of each member dancing on her own, without ever losing eye contact with the viewer, to the very cute and cheery Vita500 CF song, “Vitamin Song” (audio here). You can’t help but smile like a fool watching them dance.

As of now, only Hyoyeon’s and Tiffany’s individual dances have hit the web but I’m pretty sure we’ll be seeing the other seven girls and their versions very soon. Otherwise, go ahead and download the free app for yourself!

We went out to look for Crystals friends birthday present and I went to look for my mothers :]

[16.9.2011] Happy Malaysia Day and Bukit Kiara Run Review

Today I went over to Bukit Kiara or Kiara Park( Correct me if I'm wrong) over at Taman Tun Dr Ismail; despite the name, it isn’t in Bukit Kiara, it’s next to the Bangunan Siti Hasmah. Along with my father, who is a frequent here. But I, however, my first time run here :)

At first I thought that today the park was busy because it

was a holiday;

Oh that reminds me, Happy Malaysia Day to all the Malaysians.

But it turns out that; from what I heard, this place is always

packed with runners, cyclist, jungle trekkers and some who just

walk their dogs here.

My dad and I had to park around the Siti Hasmah building; which is about 1km before reaching the start of the bukit.

When I woke up today I thought I couldn't run because my body was aching so badly

and the torture part of today was to reach the starting point of the hill because my body was aching

and I haven't stretched yet. So when we reached at the starting point I saw alot of people moving about; some with serious running expressions and others wearing happy smiling from ear to ear expressions on their faces.

The starting point had this sign here.

so after stretching; I started slow jogging up the first part of the route; which was about 1km

and I stated earlier, there are alot of people but the road is spacious so its safe, don't worry :)

and everyone here minds their own business. Most of the time its uphill over here;

a great workout for your back and lower thighs, and its even better if you could run all the way if you have great stamina. I was jogging and running on and off, because I needed to take pictures :)

After you've completed the first route, you will reach the roundabout in the middle which splits 3 ways.

This is where you came from, the first route.

to your right is another route, which I never took; maybe next time.

From the first route, you should just continue on the straight path down; the photo above is the route.

Unfortunately, I didn't take a picture of the left, but you'll end up at the roundabout again after you follow the road down and make sure you turn left at the bottom. The 12o'clock route and back to the roundabout is about 2km.

The second part of the route is a mix of uphill and part where it's level. I ran uphill and jogged when it's level because I had to take pictures but I didn't want to ruin my run :)

The stretch may seem very long, especially if its your first time;

I strongly suggest you bring your Ipod or mp3 to accompany you; that is unless; you are a nature lover and love the forest itself singing to you. Also, there are no toilets here, so I suggest you go wee-wee BEFORE you come here. Unless you wanna go in the jungle, which I strongly suggest you don't and try to hold it in or sweat it out.

K time to get back in shape. I'm so out of shape at the moment.
No more fooling around :[
I'll try to jog at different areas on weekends and upload photos and the information and address

Last week I went to a park in the Selayang area near batu caves,

KOREAN MUSIC WAVE 2011 in Malaysia is set to be the defining Korean music event of the year which will be headlined by YG Entertainment’s G-Dragon, T.O.P and Seungri. The Raya Holidays are finally coming to an end and it's that time again,
where my mother cries a river at the airport, my brother will continuously molest me even more.
But not to worry, the self proclaimed 'KL Gangster' will be back for a week at the end of the year to wreak more havoc.
He claims that this time round, his trip is more memorable than his previous.
Probably because he's more matured now and sees things in a whole different way.
Thats good, I'm glad he enjoyed the trip this time round; although fighting and listening to mummys legendary nagging is inevitable if you're apart of the Zuraidi family :/

There is new K-Pop music Chart in town, and it is by none other than Billboard.com. It was launched today, August 25, and just like its original counterpart it will be called The Billboard K-Pop Hot 100 chart.

According to Billboard.com, the new K-Pop chart was launched in conjunction with Billboard Korea and is based on digital sales via leading websites as well as downloads from mobile service sites using an industry-standard formula and the most credible music data sources within Korea. The K-Pop Hot 100 debuts simultaneously here on Billboard.com and on Billboard Korea's website, billboard.co.kr.

"The launch of the Billboard K-Pop Hot 100 chart is a milestone event, as it will provide the Korean music market with what we believe is Korea's most accurate and relevant song ranking," says Silvio Pietroluongo, Billboard's Director of Charts. Twelve popular music groups from Korea like Girls' Generation and KARA appeared at Niigata's Tohokuden Big Swan Stadium on August 20 for the "K-POP All-Star Live in Niigata" show. 43,000 fans were excited to attend the first large scale K-Pop festival to be held in this area. With the intention of aiding those affected, victims of the recent earthquake disaster in Japan were invited to the festival.

The nine member group Girls' Generation performed four songs including their hit single "Gee". All of the fans' eyes were glued to the girls' dance that was synchronized down to their breathing. Each time a member's face showed up on the jumbotron, cheers would reverberate around the stadium. Tiffany, Yuri, and Sooyoung were in charge of hosting the show. Sooyoung, who is proficient in Japanese, greeted the fans by saying, "Thank you to everyone who has given Girls' Generation and KARA a lot of love this past year (since debuting)." She also played a big part in translating the other two MCs' Korean speech.

The festival closed with the song "Arirang", where all 62 members who participated in the event gathered together to perform the piece.

At the venue t-shirts and other charity goods were sold. All proceeds and even ticket revenue were set aside to be donated. Also, with thoughts of "becoming the strength of children", around 300 junior high school students who are taking refuge in Niigata from the earthquake were invited to the festival. Prior to the beginning of the festival, everyone gathered to hold a minute of silent prayers for those lost in the disaster.

Girls' Generation's Taeyeon also left a message saying, "I hope even for a little bit that we can give those affected by the disaster a little bit of comfort through our music."

and well since I have some time to spare nowadays;

-School has been quite stressful, but fun.

At first, Laurie couldn't decide which kind of tea she wanted. The chamomile, which used to be her favorite for lazy evenings at home, now reminded her too much of Carl, who once said, in happier times, that he liked chamomile. But she felt she must now, at all costs, keep her mind off Carl. His possessiveness was suffocating, and if she thought about him too much her asthma started acting up again. So chamomile was out of the question.
